EMDR Consultation
SESSIONS ARE ONE-ON-ONE, DELIVERED VIA ZOOM AND CAN COUNT TORWARDS EMDRIA CERTIFICATION
Certification
I provide consultation for EMDRIA certification. In addition to helping you develop confidence and fine tune your skills in the standard protocol, sessions focus on strengthening your understanding of the AIP model to:
- derive solid case conceptualisation
- create effective treatment plan
- identify targets and related sequencing
- know when to use past, present and/or future prongs (i.e., symptom informed approach)
- use effective interweaves (cognitive, behavioural, emotional)
- appropriately use resource development and installation (RDI)
- know how and when to use EMD, EMDr and EMDR

Consultant in Training
These sessions are for certified therapists wanting to become approved consultants and provide consultation to other therapists in training
Advanced Consultation for Complex Cases *
These sessions are for clinicians working with complex and dissociative clients who have not benefited from the standard EMDR protocol.
We use thorough case conceptualisation and MID interpretations to understand clients' presentation. Guided by the AIP model, the theory of structural dissociation, and the progressive approach to EMDR, we also work together on enhancing and strengthening your skills and confidence in:
- recognising structural dissociation
- identifying the different parts of clients' personality structure
- recognising the presence of, and working with introjects
- strengthening clients' already resourced part for appropriate and effective RDI
- using bilateral stimulations when working with parts of the personality (i.e., EPs and ANP) to enhance the part work and related information processing
- combining imagery with bilateral stimulations to soften resistant parts
- recognising and softening dissociative phobia (fear of emotion between parts)
- preparing clients' system for EMDR
- choosing between EMD, EMDr and EMDR
- modifying the standard protocol when working with fragmented memories held by and across different parts of the personality
*cannot be counted towards certification due to the focus on modified protocols
